Thanks to the recent general election in Ontario and the Liberal Party receiving a majority government, Premier Kathleen Wynne has announced some changes to the Cabinet.

Many Cabinet members are still in Cabinet, albeit with new portfolios, while others remain in their current position.  However, there are some new members.

The new cabinet breaks down as follows:

Ms. Hunter, as Associate Minister of Finance, will be responsible for the creation of the Ontario Pension Plan.

In all there 27 ministers (including the two Associate Ministers), of which eight are women and four who are new ministers.

It will be increasing to see how the Government responds now that it has a majority to work with in the legislature.
